As part of the Auxiliary, we provide meaningful and unique ways to support patients and families at Rady Children’s. Aside from monthly membership meetings, we participate in numerous activities and fundraising efforts to raise awareness for the hospital.
Alexa’s PLAYC
We host classroom activities with students at Alexa’s PLAYC Preschool – a play-based preschool program for children aged 18 months to 5 years, welcoming both those with autism spectrum disorder and typically developing peers.
Snack Bag Donations
Our unit provides non-perishable food and drink snack donations for patient families and clinical staff at Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego.
YPU Charity Golf Tournament
Once a year, the Young Professionals Unit designates an under-funded department at Rady Children’s Hospital to help raise much needed funds.
Bernardy Center Birthdays
Providing birthday party kits to celebrate children at Rady Children’s Helen Bernardy Center for Medically Fragile Children.
